WP 754 is one of few surviving examples of the 1910 built Haskell and Barker built cabooses that were often referred to as "Gould Standard" cabooses. The term "Gould Standard" was a reference to the similarly designed cars built in for the Rio Grande, a railroad also owned by George Jay Gould.

The 754 was retired in 1956 and donated to Travel Town in Los Angeles' Griffith Park. Images were taken on March 13, 2005.
