UP 25279 is a CA-5 steel cupola caboose. It was built as UP 3979 in August of 1952 and was renumbered 25279 in June 1959. The car was retired by Union Pacific in January of 1987 and was donated to the City of Oakland for their Feather River Camp in Quincy, California. Images were taken May 28, 2007.
