UP 25049 is a CA-3 steel cupola caboose. It was built as UP 3749 in May 1942 and was renumbered 25049 in January 1959. The car was retired by Union Pacific on September 12, 1985 and generously donated it to the Western Pacific Railroad Museum in Portola, CA where it arrived in April 1986.
