UP 25037 is a CA-3 steel cupola caboose. It was built as UP 3737 in May 1942 and was renumbered 25037 in January 1959. The car was retired by Union Pacific in May 1973. It was moved to Brea, California to become part of an MJB Realty office at 200 W Imperial Hwy. The realty office has since moved next door and the depot style building (named "Gateway Station") attached to the caboose were vacant and undergoing some sort of interior renovation when I took these images on taken April 4, 2007. This property would make an awesome model train shop!
