Captive Caboose - Southern Pacific Unknown number

This steel bay window caboose is located at the Featherbed Railroad Company resort along with numerous other cabooses that have been converted into guest cabins. The car presently carries the number 1026 which is not the original number since the real 1026 was a C-40-1 class steel cupola car. The actual number of this car is unknown. The resort is located on the north shore of Clearlake in Nice, California. Images taken on May 25, 2007.
