SP 4706 is one of 75 C-50-9 steel bay window cabooses and were the last cabooses built for the SP. They were produced by the International Car division of Paccar in 1980 and were the basis for the six 481 class cars built for the WP at the same time as an extension of the SP order. The car temporarily resides at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum in Portola, CA but the actual ownership and final destination is unknown at the time of this writing. Image was taken on August 4, 2006.
