Captive Caboose - Southern Pacific 4049

SP 4049 is a C-40-4 steel bay window caboose, originally numbered SP 1403, that is now in Fullerton, California and belongs to the Southern California Scenic Railway Association along with ATSF 999110. The car was previously located at Travel Town in Los Angeles' Griffith Park. The first four images above were taken at Fullerton, CA on April 4, 2007. The last one was taken when the car was still at Travel Town on March 13, 2005.
