Captive Caboose - Southern Pacific 1859

SP 1859 is one of 75 C-50-3 steel bay window cabooses built by International Car Company in 1970. These were the first cabooses delivered to the SP with no roofwalks or end ladders. This car is now part of the collection at the St. Louis Museum of Transportation in Kirkwood, Missouri. Image was taken on July 22, 2000.
