SP 1165 is one of 215 C-40-3 steel cupola cabooses that were built by SP between 1940 and 1942. The car is on display at the La Habra Children's Museum in La Habra, CA along with 5 other freight cars and a passenger car which are surrounded on one side by the former La Habra Pacific Electric depot and on the other by the former La Habra Union Pacific depot.
