SN 1632 is a wood bay window car that was originally built in 1943 as Western Pacific 648 by the WP Jeffrey Shop forces in Sacramento. It was converted from a 1916 era Pullman Standard outside braced wood boxcar. SN 1642 was recently donated to the Western Pacific Railroad Museum in Portola, CA by the Golden Gate Railroad Museum when they were forced to move from Hunters Point Shipyard in San Francisco, California to the Niles Canyon Railway facility in Sunol, California. First image was taken August 4, 2006 at Portola, CA. Second image taken on May 27, 2007.
