Captive Caboose - Pacific Electric Railway 1971

Pacific Electric 1971 is a 1915 vintage wood cupola caboose of uncertain heritage and is located at the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris, CA. I've read that it is of Lake Shore and Michigan Southern (LS&MS) heritage and I've also read that it came from the Lehigh Valley Railroad. I do not know if either (or both) are correct. The LS&MS became part of the New York Central System but I have no idea what became of its equipment or when this car came to the PE. Images taken on August 19, 2007.
