Captive Caboose - Oregon & Northwestern 300

Oregon & Northwestern 300 is a former Norfolk & Western CF-class caboose originally built in the N&W Roanoke, VA shops in September of 1915. The car was initially N&W 18121 and later N&W 518121. It was sold to Oregon & Northwestern in 1945 where it became the 300. It was stored in Hines, OR after the end of O&NW operations in 1984 then sold to Wayne Monger and transported to the Western Pacific Railroad Museum in Portola, CA where it resides today.
