N&W 562728 is a steel cupola style caboose originally built in 1942 for the Wabash Railroad as number 2728. The car was repainted as a N&W Class C-17 with incorrect number of 562543. It is currently part of the collection at the North Carolina Museum of Transportation in Spencer, NC. Images were taken on October 11, 2006.
