DRGW 01461 is a steel cupola caboose built in 1951 by Rio Grande in their Burnham (Denver) shops. It had been updated and modernized by the Rio Grande over the years and, although very faded, still wears her final in-service solid orange paint scheme and plated side windows. The car is on display at the Visitor Information Center in the I-70 rest area off Chambers Avenue in Eagle, Colorado. Image was taken on July 23, 2000.
