Captive Caboose - Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 999541 |
| This is an extended vision Ce-6 class caboose that is used as a visitor/information center in Tulare, California. The car number was unknown for quite some time but I was able to determine it during a thorough examination of the car on May 24, 2007. The car is a Ce-6 class caboose of which only 5 originally existed and it is unknown how many are preserved but this may very be the only one. The first 5 images were taken on April 15, 2007 and the last two on May 24, 2007. |
